What the website uses, what you choose to save, and how to contact us.

STCalculator · stcalculator.onlineUpdated October 23, 2026

This policy covers stcalculator.online, its calculators, member workspace, expert features and contact form. STCalculator is the public name of this independently operated website.

Website operator and data controller: Sezai TARAR. Contact: support@stcalculator.online.

01

Information you provide

Account and sign-in information: your email address, display name, sign-in provider identifier and information needed to authenticate your account. If you choose Google sign-in, Google may provide the profile and email information approved in that sign-in flow. We do not ask you to send your Google password to STCalculator.

Workspace information: favorite lists, saved scenarios, project names and notes, links between projects and your saved items, and the results or settings included in saved scenarios. Recently used history stores calculator names and visit times, not their inputs or results. Visitor history stays in that browser; signed-in history is associated with your account and can be cleared.

Community comments and replies: your comment, display name, linked calculator, submission and update times, member account reference and moderation status. Approved comments and your display name are public; your account email is not shown with them. Pending comments are visible only to you and the editorial team. Editing a published comment sends it back for review. Removing a comment hides it from public view; a copy may remain in moderation records and backups. Avoid posting identifying or confidential information.

Contact and expert information: name, email, subject, message, optional page URL and any profile, professional links, credentials, article or review information you submit. Information approved for a public expert profile, article or review can be visible to website visitors.

02

Calculator inputs and sensitive information

Calculation processing varies between tools: some run in the browser and others use server processing. Do not assume that every input stays on your device. Saving a scenario associates the saved information with your member account.

Please do not submit patient names, medical record numbers, passwords, payment-card details or confidential personal records. Health and financial inputs may be sensitive even without a name; use non-identifying examples where possible.

03

Technical data, cookies and storage

The hosting and security systems can process IP addresses, request times, requested URLs, browser details and diagnostic information to deliver and protect the service. The contact record also stores a browser user-agent string and submission time.

Session cookies support sign-in, form security and continuity. Browser storage remembers interface preferences such as the selected theme. Google Analytics is used to measure website use and can process page views, referral information, device and browser details, online identifiers and approximate location, depending on its configuration.

Browser privacy controls can limit cookies and remove local storage. Clearing browser data does not automatically remove information already saved in an account or sent through the contact form.

04

Why information is used

We use information to provide sign-in and workspace features, process expert applications and editorial submissions, answer messages, investigate reported errors, protect the website and understand how it is used.

Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, operating requested account services can rely on performance of the service arrangement; security and responding to enquiries can rely on legitimate interests; legally required records rely on legal obligations; and optional processing that requires consent must use consent. The applicable basis depends on the activity and jurisdiction.

05

Service providers and external sites

Hosting and security providers process technical information needed to run the site. Our email delivery service, MailBaby, handles service messages such as sign-in emails. Google provides the Google sign-in and Analytics services used on this website.

Service providers may process information in countries outside your own. Their applicable terms and privacy notices explain their processing. External reference sites have their own privacy practices.

We do not sell member profiles or contact messages. Information can be disclosed where required by law or necessary to investigate abuse and protect the service.

06

How long information is kept

Account and workspace information is kept while needed to provide your account and saved features, or to resolve an account request. Contact messages are kept while needed to handle the enquiry, investigate a reported issue or maintain a necessary correspondence record.

Expert submissions and published material may remain while the submission is being assessed or the content is published. Technical logs, backups and provider-held information follow the relevant system retention settings. Legal, security and dispute-related obligations can require some information to be kept longer.

Removing an item from the live service does not necessarily remove it immediately from a backup. Contact us if you need details about a particular record or retention request.

07

Your choices and requests

You can edit available profile settings and manage the lists or scenarios offered in your workspace. Contact support@stcalculator.online for account deletion, access, correction or another privacy request.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or erase information, restrict or object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent and complain to the relevant data-protection authority. These rights can have conditions and exceptions.

Use the email address associated with the account where possible. We may need proportionate information to verify a request. Do not email identity documents or passwords unless a specific, justified verification method has been agreed.

08

Children and professional use

Public calculators can be used for learning, but the member workspace and expert features are intended for adults. Please do not create accounts for children or submit a child’s personal records through the contact form.

Healthcare professionals should not use the site as a patient record system. The website is not an emergency or confidential clinical communication channel.

09

Updates and contact

We update this notice when the website’s features or information practices change. The updated date appears at the top of this page.
