Weight records
Use actual scale measurements. Ages and weights use the units selected on the left. Add replaces a record at the same age. Records are held in this tab until you explicitly save them on this device.

From puppy to adult
Size groups are descriptive, not breed guarantees. Highlight follows the central scenario weight.
Understanding the estimate
The estimate uses current weight divided by the supplied growth fraction. You can adjust the growth stage assumption; parents and shoulder height are context, not a genetic guarantee.
About the chart and growth guides
The green line and band show a user-defined scenario, not a validated prediction, healthy-growth band or confidence interval. Only entered records are observations. Example records are labeled and removed when you start your own profile. Past weights are not fabricated from the curve.
To assess real growth, use the appropriate sex- and adult-size-specific WALTHAM chart with a veterinarian. This page does not reproduce WALTHAM centiles or classify a puppy’s growth as normal or abnormal.
Frequently asked questions
How accurate is a single measurement?
It cannot establish an accurate adult-weight prediction. Breed, age, genetics, body condition and health all matter. This calculator explores an explicit assumption and records weights for discussion with your veterinarian.
What if my puppy is a mixed breed?
Choose Mixed / Unknown and enter a scenario maturity age and growth-stage assumption. Parent information can help your veterinarian judge likely size, but no reliable universal multiplier is applied here.
Can shoulder height predict adult weight?
There is no universal conversion across dog breeds and body shapes. Shoulder height is recorded and exported as context; it does not change the estimated weight.
