When should I add the nest box?
Day 28 after breeding is the example default; management guidance commonly places nest boxes at day 28–29. If using an earlier due estimate, adjust the nest date to precede it.
Does breed determine an exact due date?
No. The 30/31/32-day breed presets are editable planning assumptions. Gestation varies with the doe, litter and circumstances; a date calculation does not confirm pregnancy.
Is weaning counted from breeding or birth?
From birth. Eight weeks means 56 days after actual birth, or after estimated kindling if actual birth is unknown. The example is not 56 days after breeding.
Who should perform palpation?
A veterinarian or properly trained experienced professional. The calendar only marks an example day within a day 10–14 planning window and does not provide examination instructions.
